PURPOSE:To prevent the loss of a magnetic bore and a lowering of its quality by making the component of the magnetic core have a specific condition in the low frequency magnetic core in which its composition is shown by a specific formula and allowing the prescribed percent or more of a structure to be made up by fine crystal grains and causing a particle size average that is obtained by the crystal grains to be less than a constant value. CONSTITUTION:In a low frequency iron core having a composition formula that is stated separately, M indicates a kind of elements which is chosen at least out of a group consisting of Nb, W, Ta, Mo, Zr, Hf, and Ti. The composition ratio of the iron core satisfies respective formulas: 0.1<=x<3.0, 0<=y<=10.4<=z<=17, 0.1<=alpha<=5, 1<gamma<=4, 10<=y+z+gamma<=20. Further, at least 50% of a structure is composed of fine crystal grains and its structure is formed of an alloy in which a particle size average that is measured at the maximum size of the crystal grains is 1000Angstrom or less. As a magnetic core having a low coercive force and high saturation magnetic permeability is obtained in this way, the magnetic core is miniaturized. Especially, the loss of the magnetic core and a lowering of its quality in a transformer and the like which are used in commercial frequency are prevented. |
