<p>PURPOSE:To stop unnecessary pumps without impairing the performance of the wet type exhaust gas desulfurizing device for boilers for intermediate load operation with which the frequencies of start and stop are many by allowing the number of the circulating pumps to be controlled according to the operating conditions of the plant even with the above-mentioned wet type waste gas desulfurizing device. CONSTITUTION:Absorption liquids are supplied by plural units of the circulating pumps to an absorption column which absorbs away the SOX in waste gases. The number of the pumps to be operated is controlled according to the load. Operation history signals 14 of the circulating pumps, start limit condition signals 15 of the circulating pumps, intended load signals 16 of the absorption column, and SOX signals 17 in the waste gases are inputted and outputted in a data input/output section 18 in the controller. Desulfurizing performance is computed from the signals 16, 17 in a section 19 for computing the desulfurizing performance. Further, the required number of the circulating pumps to be operated is computed in accordance with the signals 16, 17 in a section 20 for computing the required flow rate of the circulating liquid. The pumps are selected from the computed number of the pumps to be operated and the signals 14, 15 in a section 21 for deciding the okay or not of pump stop. The start and stop of the pumps are executed by a control section 22.</p> |
