PURPOSE:To simplify operation for preparing a graph by providing a document storing part to store document data including ruled line data, graph data deciding part, which selects and converts numerical data into a table based on the data in the storing part, and graph preparing part. CONSTITUTION:When a graph preparation key is inputted by an input part 1, the inside of a document storing part 2 is retrieved through a main control part 4 and a graph data deciding part 5 and reference positions A-D of a table 11 are found out. Afterwards, based on these reference positions A-D, item data and numerical data in the table 11 are read and stored in a graph data storing part 6. Next, the deciding part 5 outputs a graph preparing signal on a line (b). The signal is inputted to a graph preparing part 7 and based on the data in the storing part 6, for example, a polygonal line graph 12 corresponding to the inside of the storing part 2 is written to an arbitrarily designated position and can be displayed through a display control part 9 to a display part 8 together with the data in the storing part. |
