PURPOSE:To obtain a heat exchanger having high air tightness without fear of leakage of cooling medium by piling plural pieces of plates with through-hole worked by suitable pressing work to the plate forming brazing filler material for Al on one side face and brazing. CONSTITUTION:The cooling medium plate 10 and seal plate 11 are the plates with the brazing filler material for Al of Al-Si series formed, etc., on one side face with the suitable pressing work. The cooling medium plate provides header part 12 connecting with outlet/inlet pipe 3 for cooling medium an the through- hole for the cooling medium passage 13 with the pressing work. The seal plate 11 provides the through-hole for the header part 12. The cooling medium plates 10 and the seal plates 11 are alternately piled, and the cooling medium plates 10 are constituted so that the different fluid bodies flow at each one plate by turning these under inserting the seal plates 11 by 90 deg. angle and piling. By brazing in a vacuum furnace or an atmospheric furnace suited to the brazing, these are constituted. By this method, the heat changer having high air tightness can be obtd. |
