<p>The handle (4) for sports equipment, in particular for tennis or squash rackets, has a rounded edge-free cross-section in the hand region and a convex cross-sectional thickening (6) which merges at both its ends into a concave cross-sectional taper (7, 8). The two concave cross-sectional tapers (7, 8) each merge into a touch region (9, 10) of polygonal, in particular octagonal cross-section. The handle can be produced integrally or in the form of two shells which can be glued over the end of any desired handle. The handle is preferably fitted at least in the region of the convex thickening with a coating of visco-elastic silicone rubber which is roughened on the surface. <IMAGE></p> |
