<p>A device for working a supply of clay to mouldings adapted for firing hand mould bricks, comprising a press of the type adapted to form the clay into lumps and deposit these lumps into moulding trays (7) on an endless conveying means mounted for intermittent passing under the press, said conveying means thereafter passing the moulding tray (7) successively along a device for trimming the loaded moulding tray (7), a station (11) where the loaded trays (7) are tilted, a station where the mouldings are dropped from the moulding trays (7) onto carrying pallets (12) supplied to said station, a station for washing, drying and sanding of the empty moulding trays and a station for tilting the moulding trays back to the filling position. According to the invention the conveyor means are formed as a turntable (1) having supports (5) which are tiltably mounted about radial axes (8) and adapted to carry the moulding trays (7), whereas the device for supplying the empty pallets (12) and the discharge of the pallets loaded with mouldings is extending diametrically underneath the turntable (1) adjacent the unloading station (11).</p> |
