<p>The invention relates to an on-board computer system with display selected from a function among a plurality of functions, called a menu. The system is of the type comprising a display device (2) which comprises means of display of the menu and means of display of the data relating to the function selected and a control device (3) for the display by means of the said computer (1) linked to sensors of the values of the parameters corresponding to the said functions (at 8). The system is characterised in that the means of display (2) of the menu (a1 to a6) and of the data are found in the same area of display which is transformable alternatively into an area for display of the menu and an area for display of the data.
