PURPOSE:To improve the durability of and to reduce the cost of an electric heating variable pad which levels or fills gaps between a track or building or the like and its foundation or the like. CONSTITUTION:There are arranged a number of through holes 2 over the entire thermoplastic resin plate of elastic polyester resin to occupy approx. 45% of the area, for example, of the resin plate 1, and a heater 3 disposed on the plate 1 for heating the plate 1. The heater 3 is composed of heating wires 6 buried in zigzag state in a substrate 4 of the same resin material as the resin plate 1 to perpendicularly cross a number of shallow grooves 5 formed on the substrate 4 with projections fromed at both sides of the plate 1 as guides. A non-woven fabric 11 is wound as heat insulator to thus complete a desired heating variable pad. This pad is used, for example, as a leveling material of a track as designated by 17. |
