(1) The improvements advocated consist basically of a modification in the positioning and movements of the base plate 36, which are aimed at said plate having sufficient elasticity so that, in the event of the entrainer displacing, in an undesired manner, a cross band 21 into an incorrect position or, alternatively, into the correct position but involving a number of cross bands 21 at the same time, it prevents the longitudinal bands 34 and the aforesaid cross bands 21 which have been incorrectly positioned or dispensed in a defective manner from being able to give rise a general breaking of all the bands involved, i.e. the longitudinal bands 34 and the cross bands 21, which, apart from the losses produced, may also mean that damage is caused to the recommended machine. <IMAGE>
