The container comprises a layer of extruded thermoplastic material with an expanded inner cellular part and a considerably thinner unexpanded skin of the same material. It is joined molecularly to the expanded part and covers at least one surface of the layer to form a reinforcement. Specifically the inner part is absorbent. More specifically the expanded material is PVC, polystyrene, polythene and polypropene, mixed with liquids e.g. pentane or trifluormethane. |
