PURPOSE:To steep the temp. distribution in a recording surface and to form holes of the sizes stable to a power fluctuation by providing a transparent dielectric film having the thermal conductivity larger than the thermal conductivity of a recording film and an underlying film between the substrate and the underlying film. CONSTITUTION:The transparent dielectric film 2 consisting of Al2O3 is formed on a polycarbonate substrate 1. The underlying film 3 consisting of fluoroplastic and the recording film 4 consisting of Te are laminated on the film 2. The film 2 having the thermal conductivity larger than the thermal conductivity of the films 3, 4 is provided between the substrate 1 and the film 3 in such a manner. Then, the film 2 plays the role of a heat absorbing layer to steep the temp. distribution in the recording surface. The holes of the stable sizes in spite of the fluctuation in the power are formed in this way and the recording characteristics are improved. |
