PURPOSE:To increase the superconducting transition temperature by mixing powder of Tl2O3, BaO, La2O3 and CuO, forming the mixture and heat-treating the product to obtain a sintered material having a specific composition. CONSTITUTION:Powder of Tl2O3, BaO, La2O3 and CuO are mixed with each other at specific ratios and pressed to form a molded article. The article is wrapped with a gold foil and sintered in O2 atmosphere at 870-910% for 1-10hr to obtain an oxide superconductor composition expressed by formula (0.0<x<0.2; y is usually 5.5-6.5) and having high superconducting transition temperature. |
