PURPOSE:To easily and inexpensively obtain the toner adequate for a chromarine color display system by sticking and fixing carbon black directly to synthetic resin particles at a specific weight ratio or above. CONSTITUTION:The synthetic resin particles which are hydrophobic to an aq. medium are heated to the temp. equal to the glass transition point or above in the acidic aq. medium. The carbon black having acidic pH and the silica powder are mixed in the presence of a surfactant and the mixture is adhered and fixed to the resin powder and is then dehydrated and dried. The fusion of the resin particles to each other is prevented in this way and the form of the particles is maintained. The toner adequate for the chromarine color display system is easily and inexpensively obtd. |
