PURPOSE:To prevent image fog and to enhance offset resistance and image quality by specifying the upper limit of the average particle diameter of magnetic spherical particles and the lower limit of the bulk density of the magnetic particles. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic spherical particles have an average particle diameter of <=0.5mum and a bulk density of >=0.9g/cm<3>, thus permitting the magnetic particles to have a large contact area rate and good mutual adhesiveness, and sufficient dispersibility, a good ball-milling effect on additives contained in the toner at the time of mixing and kneading, and so to promote uniform dispersion of the additives, therefore, to prevent fog, and to enhance offset resistance and image quality. |
