Compounds of formula: <IMAGE> in which: R1 and R2 denote, independently of each other, a hydrogen atom or a carbamoyl group of formula: <IMAGE> with R'3 denoting hydrogen or R3; an alkoxycarbonyl group of formula: <IMAGE> or an acyl group of formula: <IMAGE> in which R3 denotes an alkyl, alkenyl or cycloalkyl radical; R3 may also denote an aryl or aralkyl radical; R denotes a linear or branched C1-C6 alkyl radical substituted by one or more halogen atoms, and their use for the treatment and prevention of loss of hair and for stimulating its regrowth.
