A cross-country or touring-ski binding is represented, with a holding shell (2) which bears against the sole edge of the boot on the top and on the bottom and which is spring-loaded about a horizontal axis (5); in a closed position, a locking pin (3) penetrates an opening on the boot from below and a catch (4) is engaged on the holding part; the axis (6), about which the catch (4) is pivotable, lies behind the axis (5) of the holding shell (2) and, with the binding closed, the catch (4) passes through the holding shell (2) from below and bears against its upper side. <IMAGE> |
