The method is applied in systems for transmission of discrete information, telecontrol, etc. It enables to achieve a more efficient utilisation of the communication channel and retention of messages is reduced. The method consists in sending a synchronised set of determined amounts of synchro-words at the beginning of the communication session and on the side of the receiving party each received bit is registered and the information received is shifted at each new clock pulse. Each of the latter is subjected to comparison of the separate parts of the received set with the corresponding samples of the synchro-words. The optimum length of the synchro-words is determined by the error statistics in the channel and its design characteristics. The structure of the synchronised set, dephased into a certain amount of bits is to the utmost, different from the standard. Criteria for phase start is the correct receiving of a given number of identified words, determined by the probability characteristics of the system entered in advance. The number of identified words is not less than unity and not more than the number of transmitted synchro-words.
