The hinge comprises, as seen from the top downwards, a first stationary frame element 14 which is screwed into the frame 1, a first movable arch element 5 which is screwed into an internal arch 3, a second movable arch element 6 which is screwed into an external arch 2, and a second stationary frame element 7 which is screwed into the frame 1. The movable arch elements 5, 6 have, at one end, a cylindrical part 11 with an internal cylindrical hole 12 which can receive an axle pin 8, which runs the whole length of the hinge. Starting from the cylindrical part 11 there is a plate-shaped part 13 which approximately has the same length "l" as the width "b" of the external arch 2. At the end, the plate-shaped part 13 merges into a likewise plane part 14 which is bent at right angles in relation to the plate-shaped part 13 in towards the arches 2, 3. In the part 14 there is a screw holder for securing the arches 2, 3 in the hinge. The hinge is inexpensive to produce and easy to fit. The external arch 2 can be opened and locked independently of the internal arch 3. The two arches can therefore perform different functions. For example, the internal arch can be fitted with a fly screen 16 and the external arch with a pane of glass 15. <IMAGE> |
