PURPOSE:To improve molding density and to obtain ferrite magnetic material having excellent magnetic properties and ultralow shrinkage by heat treating it at a temperature range of softening temperature of glass powder having lower softening point than that of high crystalline spherical ferrite powder and baking temperature of high crystalline spherical ferrite magnetic powder. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic material is formed by vigorously mixing high crystalline spherical ferrite powder 1 and glass powder, pressure molding granulated mixture material, softening and melting the glass powder mixed among the magnetic powder 1 in a molding, merely binding the powder 1 with glass material 2 and solidifying it. The powder 1 is sufficiently made as ferrite by baking at a high temperature, and normally desirable by baking at 900 deg.C or higher. If the quantity of the glass powder to be applied to the powder 1 is less than 0.3wt.%, the binding effect of the powder 1 is small, and mechanical strength cannot be obtained. Binding strength is sufficiently increased with the quantity of the glass more than 30wt.%, but since the nonmagnetic amount is increased, magnetic characteristic is remarkably deteriorated, undesirably. |
