PURPOSE:To correct a picture containing such distortion as distance, rotation, etc., into a desired form by setting the coordinates and the increment of a reading start point and controlling the address of the reading point of an input frame memory based on the addition arithmetic result using the set coordinates and increment. CONSTITUTION:The density value data obtained by quantizing the video image signal is stored in the coordinates corresponding to the position on an image pickup screen of an input frame memory Fi. The memories R and Rd store the reading point coordinates Xs and Ys given from the memory Fi and the increments DELTAx and DELTAy used for obtaining the next reading point coordinates based on the coordinates Xs and Ys. Then the memories R and Rd which reads successively the density value data out of the memory Fi based on the reading point coordinates obtained by the addition arithmetic using the coordinates Xs and Ys and the increments DELTAx and DELTAy to be stored. Thus it is possible to correct the distance distortion of photographed picture and the distortions of a rotary shift component, etc., and to reproduce a desired form. |
