PURPOSE:To rapidly and accurately input the pattern data of a finger print to a host computer of the like by arranging a counter electrode constituted of matrix-like aggregate electrode under a finger print depressing part through an electrode layer such as carbon paste and a pressure sensitive conductive material. CONSTITUTION:The finger print depressing part 1 consisting of a member such as a PET sheet 2, the electrode part 3 such as carbon paste formed under the depressing part 1 and the counter electrode 7 constituted of the matrix-like aggregate electrodes formed under the layer 3 through the pressure sensitive conductive material 44 are arranged in an input device. Respective parts are unitedly constituted like a sheet and the input device is fixed to a part of a key operation part in a host computer or the like. Since a person to use the host computer can be discriminated from other persons by storing the finger print of the person and depressing the finger print depressing part by the person's finger, the host computer can be prevented from being used by a third person, safeness can be sufficiently secured and labor for always carrying a key or a magnetic/ID card can be saved. |
