摘要 PURPOSE:To feed power reliably from normal side even upon occurrence of overvoltage condition in one power source by providing an overvoltage follow-up preventive circuit for limiting an output voltage specified by a load share signal to a value lower than the operating voltage of an overvoltage preventing circuit. CONSTITUTION:An overvoltage follow-up preventive circuit comprises means 30 for detecting the output voltage from a DC power source, a load share circuit 40 for receiving a signal from an output voltage detecting means for another power source and providing a load share signal for balancing the voltage to the output voltage from another power source to one power source, and an overvoltage follow-up preventive circuit 60 for limiting the output voltage specified by a load share signal to a level lower than the operating voltage of an overvoltage preventive circuit 50. In other words, upon occurrence of overvoltage in one power source through the load share circuit 40, voltage of another power source rises correspondingly and the overvoltage preventive circuit 50 functions to stop operation of normal power source thus suppressing voltage rises below a predetermined level through the overvoltage following-up preventive circuit 60.
