PURPOSE:To set characteristics of waveform variation of a keyboard optionally by composing data of two groups of musical sound data on musical sound data memories selected by a musical sound data memory selecting means at a ratio corresponding to the value of selection data obtained by converting the value of a parameter according to a conversion curve. CONSTITUTION:One memory group is selected by memory group selecting means 5 and 6, the value of the parameter is converted into the selection data by a conversion table according to the specific conversion characteristics, and two waveform memories in the waveform memory group are selected. Then those waveform data are put together by a composing means according to the value of the selection data. Further, when a feature point setting means sets a point indicating the feature of the conversion curve, a conversion curve generating means 23 interpolates feature points to generate an optional conversion curve, which is written in the conversion table by a writing means. Consequently, the characteristics such as waveform variation of the keyboard can be set optionally. |
