PURPOSE:To provide the title unit being in good heating condition for a liquid- absorbing wick and also in favorable liquid transpiratory condition, so designed that a flat plane is made on the side of the liquid-absorbing wick set on a bottle and, furthermore, a heating mechanism is provided with another flat plane corresponding to the former plane. CONSTITUTION:A bottle 3 is horizontally put into the bottle inserting part 4 of the title unit 1 by opening a front door 11 followed by closing said door 11. Thence, a thermistor element with positive characteristic is energized to heat a heating element 8 to heat a liquid absorbing wick 14; thus, the liquid is transpired and released into the air. In this heating transpiration, as one side of the wick 14 is in contact with the inner side of the heating element 8, heat transfer is in good condition, energy loss being small, thus heating can be made effectively. A flat plane is made on the side of the wick 14 and the heating element 8 is also provided with another flat plane corresponding to the former plane. Therefore, the wick 14 on the bottle 3 can be brought into contact with the heating element 8 through both the flat planes. Thereby, heat can be effectively transferred from the heating element 8 to the wick 14 with little waste, thus the liquid in the bottle 3 can be effectively transpired from the wick 14. |
