PURPOSE: To satisfactorily lubricate a stern driving device to improve the durability by driving a centrifugal pump by a gear on a vertical driving shaft lower end part, and supplying the discharged lubricating oil to the support device of each driving shaft in the stern driving device. CONSTITUTION: A stern driving device transmits the drive from an engine to a propeller 140 through a front horizontal driving shaft 152 supported by a bearing device 162, a bevel gear 164, a bevel gear 204 or 206 supported by bearing devices 210, 214, a clutch assembly 182, a vertical driving shaft 166 supported by bearing devices 170, 172, bevel gears 173, 146, and a propeller shaft 138 supported by bearing devices 150, 136 to rotate it. At that time, the lubricating oil within a lower gear box 109 is supplied to each support device through a passage by a centrifugal pump 148 integrated with the bevel gear 146 to lubricate it. |
