<p>PURPOSE:To attain the use of a mouse even in an inferior environment by connecting an integrator to a vertical acceleration detector and resetting and unresetting each horizontal integrator based on the output of the integrator connected to the acceleration detector. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of integrators 2 and 4 connected to the outputs of the horizontal acceleration detectors 1 and 3 are turned into the speed signals. These speed signals are integrated to obtain the horizontal shift value of a mouse. On the other hand, the output of an integrator 6 connected to the output of a vertical acceleration detector 5 is also turned into a speed signal. The plus side of this speed signal is equivalent to a case where the mouse is held up. Then the speed signal resets both integrators 2 and 4 and is set at 0. The reset states of integrators 2 and 4 are cancelled at the rise of the negative side of the speed signal. Then the horizontal speed signal is outputted for the measurement of the shift value of the mouse. Consequently, the defective operations due to the mixture of dust can be omitted owing to the lack of a movable part. Furthermore the mouse can be operated regardless of the state of a desk where the mouse is moved.</p> |
