<p>PURPOSE:To fabricate a template for oral cavity, which suits the forms of teeth and their arrangement, through simple procedure in a short time by forming a template fabricating device from a body having a pair of guides, which are arranged on both sides of the upper and lower rows of teeth at the time of meshing with each other, and a spacer provided in the neighborhood of the foreteeth. CONSTITUTION:The body 2 of a template fabricating device for oral cavity is molded in a soft material of rubber type and equipped with a pair of guides 4, 4 constructed in U-forms approx. the same as the shapes of the human teeth rows 3, 3. The space between these guide parts 4, 4 except a spacer part 5 in the body 2 is filled with a molding material for template, and the body 2 is pressed by finger so as to fit the teeth row 3 and located in the oral cavity, followed by meshing with each other. The meshing pressure is applied to the molding material, and the tooth forms are impressed. Because contacting the spacer 5, the upper and lower foreteeth are hindered from meshing. After hardening of the molding material, the meshing is released, and the body 2 is taken out of the oral cavity by grasping a grip 7 with fingers. The molding material is removed from the body 2, and the surplus portion is cut away by a knife, and thus a template 8 which best suits the forms of back teeth is accomplished.</p> |
