PURPOSE:To attain the maintenance diagnosis in accordance with the level of responsibility of a maintenance engineer by deciding whether a command should be granted to a maintenance diagnosis executing means or not based on the access control information corresponding to a password. CONSTITUTION:Both the passwords and the access limit information are registered into a 1st memory means 13 in response to plural level identifiers showing the levels of maintenance responsibility. An access control means 16 reads a level identifier corresponding to the pass word received from a maintenance center 3 out of the means 13 and stores the level identifier in a 2nd storage means 15. Then the means 16 decides whether or not the command received from the center 3 to a maintenance diagnosis executing means 11 should be executed based on the access limit information registered into the means 13 in response to the level identifier stored in the means 15. When the execution of the command is granted, the command is given to the means 11. Thus it is possible to decide a range of the maintenance diagnostic function to which an access is possible in accordance with the level of responsibility of a maintenance engineer. |
