PURPOSE: To convert magnetic induction into driving power for a rotor under optimal conditions through the characteristics of a DC motor, i.e., an internal rotor motor having a uniform air gap between the stator and the rotor. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic pole laminate 1 is provided with a hole 5 for inserting a rotor 6 and two diametrically opposite constrictions 11 on the outside of the hole 5. The rotor 6 comprises a rotary shaft 7, an unrotational rotator 8 made of a magnetizable material and mounted on the rotary shaft 7, and a two pole permanent magnet 9 arranged on the surface of the rotor 8. An A-A' line passing through the constrictions 11 is the neutral axis of a motor representing the boundary line between two stator poles. The magnetic laminate 1 serves as N pole on one side and as S pole on the other side depending on the polarity of a voltage being applied to the stator winding 4. According to the arrangement, the motor efficiency can be more than doubled as compared with a buried pole motor employing the same stator. |
