The invention relates to a solid pesticidal and acaricidal formulation based on an ether derivative and process for preparing it. This formulation comprises a solution of an ether derivative represented by the general formula I: <IMAGE> in which R represents a lower alkyl or a halomethyl group and R<1> represents a hydrogen or fluorine atom in an alkyl phthalate having an alkyl group with 9 to 13 carbon atoms, which is applied onto a solid support. The invention also relates to a process for preparing the formulation which comprises the dissolution of the ether derivative in the alkyl phthalate and the application of the solution onto a solid support. <IMAGE>
