The invention relates to a control device for a plumbing fixture which is emptied by forced evacuation by means of a centrifugal pump comprising a pump body 14, arranged in a horizontal plane on an upward branch 3 of a siphon, a rotor and a return conduit 6 grafted on the upper face of the pump body 14 in a pressure zone 5 in the vicinity of a peripheral edge 13 of the body 14 of the pump, consisting of a level probe. According to the invention, the probe 8 intended to determine the level of liquid is mounted in a pressure zone 5 of the pump 4 in the vicinity of the edge 13 of the body 14 of the pump, as represented in Figure 1. The probe can also be mounted in a recirculation loop connecting the intake 3 of the pump to the body 14 of the pump 4.
