PURPOSE:To eliminate the omission of inspection and to attain inspection at high speed by mechanically inspecting a large amount of source programs in accordance with a registered coding rule. CONSTITUTION:A rule registration means 11 reads data of a coding rule definition file 1, inspects the justification of a definition language and registers the coding rule in a rule table 14. A coding system analysis means 12 takes in the source program 2 as input data, analyzes the description system of the program and inspects whether the description system of the program is adjusted to the coding rule registered in the rule table 14. Thus, the omission of inspection is eliminated and the coding rule of a large amount of the source program 2 is inspected at high speed since the coding rule of the source program 2 generated in the development of software is automatically inspected.
