BEARING APPARATUS FOR AXLE EQUIPPED WITH WHEEL ROTATIONAL SPEED DETECTOR

PURPOSE:To facilitate handling by a method wherein the circuit receiving part of a rotational speed detector is mounted on the outer surface of an outside member in a state embedded in the outside member and extending in the axial direction so that a detection end is opposed to a part to be detected. CONSTITUTION:A piercing hole 7d is provided to an external member 7 at the position corresponding to the part 13 to be detected provided to an internal member 1 in the axial direction and a rotational speed detector 15 having an almost L-shape is mounted to said hole 7d. This detector 15 is constituted of a detection part 18 having a magnetoresistance element 16 as a sensor and a magnet 17 successively arranged thereto from the leading end thereof and a circuit receiving part 20 connected to said detection part 18 and extending in an orthogonal direction and receiving a printed circuit board 19 processing the signal of the element 16. Therefore, the protruding dimension from the outer surface of the member 7 of the detector 15 in the state mounted to the member 7 can be suppressed to the low level corresponding to the dimension of the receiving part 20 in the diameter direction thereof and transport and chassis assembling become easy.
