PURPOSE:To obtain a current control type variable inductor by a method wherein a core on which a tuning coil is wound is inserted into the hollow part of a magnetic core equipped with a control coil, and the above is vertically inserted into the third magnetic core. CONSTITUTION:A control coil 17 is wound on the part 14 of a core 10. A tuning coil 19 is wound around the part 18 of a core 11, they are inserted into the hollow part of the core 10, the flange 21 of the core 10 is brought to come in contact with the bottom 22 of the hollow part, and the lead of the coil 19 is led out from a groove 23. The core 10 is inserted into the third core 12, and a flange 25 is brought to come in contact with a bottom 24. The lead of coils 17 and 19 are connected to the pin 27 of a resin base 13, and the core 11 is fixed to the circular protrusion 26 located in the center part of the upper surface, the core 10 is fixed around the core 11, and the inner wall 16 of a core 12 is adhered to the side of the base 13. The magnetic circuit 29 provided by the control coil 17 and the magnetic circuit 30 provided by the tuning coil 19 are overlapped each other to the utmost extent at the winding part 18 of the core 11, and the effective permeability of the core 11 is controlled by changing the magnetic density of the control coil 17, thereby enabling to change the inductance of the tuning coil 19. |
