PURPOSE:To reduce the heat transmitting capaicity without increasing a pressure in the heat pipe enclosing body by a constitution wherein the entering and leaving means for a heat transmitting fluid, which can be opened or closed freely, is provided on the heat pipe so that the heat transmitting fluid can be released therefrom. CONSTITUTION:The heat transmitting fluid 3 is poured into the heat pipe 1 through a valve 7 in a degree to dump a wick 4 or more, subsequently, it is heated by a flame 6 to generate steam 5 and purge air together with the steam, thereafter, the valve 7 is closed. When the valve 7 is opened during using, steam releasing or air inflow and steam condensation are occured due to a relation between the inner pressure of the heat pipe 1 and an atmospheric pressure. Then, the heat transmitting fluid 3 is recirculated near a heat source 6 through the wick 4 and hetaed, thereafter, it becomes steam and is released to the open air through the valve 7, then, the whole of the heat transmitting fluid 3 is released substantially and thereby changing the heat transmitting resistance in the heat pipe 1. Thus, the heat transmitting capacity may be reduced without increasing the pressure in the heat pipe 1. |
