PURPOSE:To improve the processing efficiency of vehicle inspection after assembly by measuring a side slip and making a toe-in adjustment while conveying a vehicle by a conveyor. CONSTITUTION:An endlelss slat conveyor 1l is provided with a rotating roller type side slip measuring means 3A and 3B and wheels W of a vehicle C are placed on rotating rollers 4. Whe the conveyor is driven in said state, rotating rollers 4 are driven by an endless type drving means 5 associated with said rotating rollers 4 within a specific section to measure a side slip from the current lateral movement extent and also makes a toe-in adjustment on the basis of it. Said constitution allows the measurement and adjustment during the conveyance of the vehicle C with the front and rear wheels W on the conveyor 1, eliminates the need to stop the flow of a test line, and connects this line to the preceding and trailing vehicle assembling lines, etc., continuously thereby improving the processing efficiency. |
