PURPOSE:To obtain a soft antitussive and expectorant capsule containing a liquid in which antitussive and expectorant drug action ingredient is dissolved, easily administrative by oral route, unnecessary in troublesome weighting, having excellent portable property and fast acting property. CONSTITUTION:The objective capsule containing a liquid in which at least one kind of antitussive and expectorant drug action ingredient is dissolved. As the drug action ingredient, central antitussive (e.g. thiphepisin citrate), bronchodilator (e.g. dl-methylephedrine hydrochloride) and noscapine, etc., is used. As the liquid, at least one kind of compound selected from at least one kind of antitussive and expectorant drug action ingredients, saccharides (e.g. at least one kind of saccharide selected from sorbit, xylit and maltit), surfactant (e.g. polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil, polyethylene glycol monostearate, etc.) and high polymer compound (e.g. polyvinylpyrrolidone, carboxyvinyl polymer, etc.) and polyethylene glycol solution containing acid (e.g. citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, etc.) are used. |
