Valve to control two hydraulic motors - proportional magnets actuate valve pistons

The valve arrangement is for controlling the rotational speed of two hydraulic drive motors arranged in series and connected to a constant delivery pump. A two-way flow control valve (5) is placed in the by-pass pipe (20) of each drive motor (3,4) and the control pistons of both valves are opened by a currentless proportional magnet (9). USE/ADVANTAGE - Control system for the screw conveyor and scatter plate of a salt spreading vehicle giving improved stability to the drive motors relative to the pump pressure.
