Greasing unit for metal strip has at least two rollers through which the strip passes. Each roller has an outer soft storage layer fed with greasing material and has the novelty that the greasing agent is supplied through hose lines (9) running parallel to the axis (4) of each roller (5). Discharge openings (10) at the delivery ends of the hose lines within the rollers are spaced out at different intervals. The hose lines are mounted in axle-rigid supports (12) formed by support rings having holes (11), esp. boreholes to receive the hose lines. The supports are attached to the axle by grub screws located in threaded boreholes positioned transversely to the axle. ADVANTAGE - The simplified arrangement facilitates individual adjustment of the hose lines when wishing to regulate the local supply of greasing agent.
