Thread tension adjuster for crossed reel winding machine - varies rotational speed of friction roller in response to deviations from set-point value of tension

On the individual winders of a textile thread winding machine, the course of the thread (10) from the delivery rollers (7,8) to the reel (2) is taken past a tension-measuring device (22) with a lever (24) amplifying the movement of a thread guide roller (15). A small iron armature (29) at the far end moves w.r.t. two sensors (30,31) wired (32, 33) to the controller (21,45). The set point is given by a motor (35), switched off (48) when the reel (2) is full. ADVANTAGE - All winders can be adjusted on the basis of a single fundamental set-point value, with provision also for individual adjustments.
