Equipment for ultrasonic cleaning and sterilising of the surfaces of fruits and vegetables removes all types of soiling and impurities such as mud, and bacteria as well as chemical pesticides, herbicides and fungicides. - Fruit and vegetables are arranged in a frame located inside a cleansing tank filled with water so that all surfaces of the foodstuffs are subjected to the max. ultrasonic energy to effect the desired level of cleaning.
