Laminate of resin impregnated layers

Layers of paper or glass fibre, impregnated with resin, are fed to a former, together with covering foil at top and bottom. Intermediary metal foil layers can also be introduced. The layers pass together over a former where they are held together by tension and exposed to electron beam radiation. This activates the resin so that the layers bond together to form a laminate of pre-set dimensions.
