PURPOSE:To make electrochemical reactivity favorable so as to improve heavy load discharge capacity by using the mixture of specific oil furnace black and graphite for conductive material to be blended in positive electrode compound. CONSTITUTION:Pellet-form positive electrode compound 2 is filled in a vessel 1, and as conductive material to be blended in the positive electrode compound 2, the mixture of oil furnace black of 90-150m<2>/g in specific surface area by BET method and graphite is used. In this case, electrolyte is taken in the oil furnace black in chain structure, and the liquid maintainability of electrolyte in the positive electrode compound 2 is improved, and thanks to the excellent conductivity by graphite and since the oil furnace black in chain structure contacts with the mercury oxide particles excellently in electrical meaning, the conductivity improves. Hereby, it can be provided with positive electrode compound 2 excellent in maintenability of electrolyte, and the electrochemical reactivity can be made favorable, and heavy load discharge capacity can be improved. |
