<p>A numerical control apparatus for controlling the chopping operation of a tool such as grinder. A program instruction operation circuit (2) produces a top dead center instruction (Zu) and a bottom dead center instruction (Zl). A corrected value operation circuit (3) operates and produces corrected values (ΔZu, ΔZl). A chopping instruction operation circuit (4) sends a chopping control output to a manual control circuit (6) in response to these instructions and corrected values, and actuates a servo motor (7). When an instruction value (Zi) is input from the manual pulse generator (5) to a chopping instruction operation circuit (4), the chopping is carried out while continuously changing the top dead center and the bottom dead center. This enables the operator to easily adjust the top dead center and the bottom dead center.</p> |
