<p>Described is a generator set for the supply of electrical power, preferably for motor vehicles. The frequency-governed internal-combustion engine (BKM) used is an air-cooled or liquid-cooled radial motor with a blower fan (38) rigidly connected to the rotor (2) of the generator (STG). The generator rotor (2) is ridigly linked to the crankshaft (18) and the stator (3) is rigidly linked to a part (25) of the casing housing the engine (BKM), both rotor (2) and stator (3) being mounted coaxially with the crankshaft (18) such that they surround the engine (BKM).</p> |
