The invention relates to a drive device, especially for a windscreen wiper installation of a motor vehicle, with a drive motor followed by a gear system housed in a gearbox (15) having a oscillating drive spindle (32) and a pinion (13) secured thereto and with a stop (40) to limit the angle of oscillation of the drive spindle (32).
