PURPOSE:To effectively control the arrangement and operation of vehicles by inferring and displaying the route of a vehicle by the data of a mounted device. CONSTITUTION:The device 1 mounted on each vehicle transmits vehicle data such as the ID number of the vehicle and a current position in each driver's operation input, in each fixed time, or in each fixed distance traveling. When a receiving station 12 transmits the vehicle data to a center equipment 13, the center equipment 13 displays the positions or the like of respective vehicles as loci by the vehicle data, retrieves a knowledge data base part 13b based upon the vehicle data, decides a traveling pattern with the highest probability on which the vehicle is to travel and forecasts the succeeding course of the vehicle, a route and required time to a destination, the distribution of all vehicles, and so on. Then, the center equipment 13 displays the estimated result on a display part 14 by operator's operation or automatic operation. Consequently, the future course can be inferred in addition to the current position of the vehicle and the arrangement and operation of the vehicles can be effectively controlled. |
