PURPOSE:To obtain an extremely small-sized device of simple structure by mounting a semiconductor laser chip, a SELFOC lens and a solid-state laser medium wherein reflecting mirrors for an optical resonator are formed on both sides, on the same package in the manner in which the optical axis forms a straight line. CONSTITUTION:A solid-state laser device is constituted of the following; a semiconductor laser 8, a condenser lens for output light of the semiconductor laser 8, and a solid-state laser constituted of reflecting mirrors forming an optical resonator and a solid-state medium 1. The solid-state laser 1 wherein the reflecting mirrors for the optical resonator are formed on both sides is used. The semiconductor laser chip 8, a SELFOC lens 7, and the above- mentioned solid-state laser medium 1 are so mounted in the same package 6 that the optical axis forms a straight line. For example, in the package 6 fixed on a base stand 5 in which outer terminals are installed, an Nd:YAG rod 1 wherein the reflecting mirrors are formed on both of the convex end surfaces, the SELFOC lens 7 for converging light, and the semiconductor laser chip 8 for pumping are so fixed with ultraviolet curing resin 9 that the optical axes are precisely made coincide. |
