PURPOSE: To obtain a toner having excellent fluidity by mixing a resin monomer with a polymn. initiator, cross-linking component and chain transfer component, then carrying cut block polymn. till partial polymn. is obtd., and mixing a pigment to form a org. phase, and dispersing the org. phase in water containing a stabilizer component. CONSTITUTION: A resin monomer is mixed with a polymn. initiator, cross-linking component and chain transfer agent, and block polymn. is effected till partial polymn. is obtd., namely, for example, till about 10 to 40wt.% of the monomer is polymerized. Then the partially polymerized monomer product is mixed with a pigment or dye particles and an electrification promoting component till a uniform org. phase is formed. The obtd. org. phase is dispersed in water containing a stabilizer component to obtained a suspension of tone particles in water. Then the tone suspension is polymerized. Thus, a toner having excellent fluidity can be obtd. |
