<p>PURPOSE:To detect a moving vector at all times in the optimum state by providing a moving vector detection circuit, a memory circuit, a memory control circuit, a representative point setting circuit and a representative point control circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a moving vector detection circuit 104 compares video signals of 2 fields relatively to obtain a moving vector, the user uses a representative point input circuit 111 in response to the state of an object at that time to enter a representative point. In figure a circle indicates a 1st designation point, and a square depicts a 2nd designation point. For example, in the case of a sea wave under the object, since the detection of the moving vector tends to be inaccurate in the lower part, the 1st designation point the circle is used as the position of the representative point. Similarly, in the case of sky at the upper part of the object, since the detection of the moving vector tends to be inaccurate in the upper part, the 2nd designation point the square is used as the position of the representative point. Thus, accurate moving vector is detected from any object.</p> |
